Goal machine Michelle Heyman reached her 150th career appearance recently and shows no sign of slowing down as the prolific striker heads towards a 150 matches for Canberra United and the fabled century of Liberty A-League goals.
Heyman, who brought up the career milestone during the match against Wellington Phoenix in New Zealand, is currently sitting on 125 appearances for the team in Green and has scored 87 goals across a storied career.
This term the United number 23 has skippered the side on each of her ten matches and has registered five goals, twice scoring doubles with Newcastle Jets and Wellington Phoenix being on the receiving end at McKellar Park.
The appearance mark of 150 is another incredible statistic that Heyman has racked up during an impressive footballing odyssey that has encompassed stints at Central Coast Mariners, where she burst onto the Liberty A-League scene, or the Westfield W-League as it was known, after a short spell at Sydney FC, Adelaide United.
She also spent time abroad with Brondby in Denmark and Western New York Flash in the United States and has played local National Premier League for Illawarra Stingrays in Wollongong and Gungahlin United in the ACT.
Heyman has been capped by the Matildas 62 times and netted 20 goals for her country. Congratulations to our ace finisher on this amazing feat!
