Canberra United are back on the road for Round Nine of the 2025/26 Ninja A-League Women’s, taking on the Newcastle Jets in a second versus fifth clash.
United are in an incredible run of form, unbeaten in the last five matches with four wins and one draw.
The team has come out of a busy period, with four games in 15 days, relatively unscathed, only dropping points to the defending champions Central Coast Mariners, after hours of delays due to lightning in the area.
After three games in a row at home, United will make the trek north to take on the Jets for the second time this season, at No.2 Sportsground.
The two sides previously met back in Round One at McKellar Park, with the Jets leaving victorious despite United looking the better of the two sides for much of the encounter.
A change in formation has seen United dominate opposition sides in recent weeks, with the side now possessing the second best attack and third best defence in the league, statistically speaking.
