Canberra United are on the road to take on the Western Sydney Wanderers for their first game in 2026, looking to keep the sides unbeaten streak again.
United currently sit on top of the Ninja A-League Ladder, with a one-point lead on the second placed Melbourne Victory, while also having a game in hand.
A 93rd minute winner from Sienna Dale has continued United’s hot streak, with the side currently on a six-game unbeaten streak with five wins and a draw. In that time, the side has scored 12 goals whilst only conceding three.
United have three clean sheets so far this season, equal first in the league. Comparatively, the side only had two clean sheets this time last season. Sally James is in strong form, sitting second in the competition for shots saved.
The Wanderers have struggled for form, currently sitting bottom of the ladder with only four points to their name.
That isn’t to say the side hasn’t showed moments of quality. The red and black hac kept two clean sheets, a goalless draw against derby rivals Sydney FC, and a one-nil win away to Brisbane Roar.
