Back at Viking Park Fortress for 2021/22

Back at Viking Park Fortress for 2021/22

Following an undefeated season at Viking Park in 2020/2021, Canberra United will return to the southside stadium for Season 14 of the W-League.

Canberra recorded five wins, two draws and made plenty of incredible memories at Viking Park last season.

All seven of Canberra United’s debutants made their first ever W-League appearance at Viking Park in front of a roaring and loyal home crowd, Michelle Heyman made her highly anticipated return to the W-League with a hattrick in the opening round match, and the team sealed their spot in the semi-finals for the first time in four years.

Canberra United midfielder Grace Maher said the team is excited to be back at Viking Park.

“One of the most insane things about playing for Canberra is the home crowd at Viking Park,” Grace said.

“That atmosphere at Viking Park is so exciting and rewarding as a player. It genuinely lifts us.

“I don’t get that feeling anywhere else.”
