The A-Leagues can today confirm that Canberra United’s Round 8 match against Melbourne Victory this weekend has been postponed.
All players and staff who travelled for the game against Sydney FC are considered close contacts due to positive COVID-19 cases within the team, and have subsequently entered seven days of isolation.
This means that Canberra’s match at Viking Park this weekend will not go ahead, with the A-Leagues to work with both clubs to determine a new date soon.
