During Sunday’s Westfield W-League round five match with Sydney FC, Canberra United defender Natasha Prior collided heavily with an opponent. Prior was taken from the field on a stretcher before being transported to hospital as a precaution.
Prior underwent scans on Sunday night and while she was diagnosed with a concussion, the scans cleared her of any further damage.
Canberra United currently does not have a definite timeline for her return and will advise with more information when it becomes available.
Head Coach Heather Garriock wished Prior well for a full recovery.
“Everyone at the club is wishing Tash all the best, and we are excited to hear the all clear.
“We can’t wait to see her back when she’s ready.”
Further updates on Prior will be provided when suitable.
