Canberra United striker, Michelle Heyman has been named the LUCRF Super PFA Player of the Month in the Westfield W-League.

Initially selected alongside a shortlist of players by the PFA nominations committee, Heyman received the highest number of votes from her peers, to be recognised as December and January’s best performers, according to Australia’s professional footballers.

“Being supported and recognised by the players around me is an incredible honour,” Heyman said.

“I’ve really enjoyed being back on a team, mentoring the next generation and watching the fresh faces in the league hit goals. 

“I’m having so much fun on the field. I missed this game!”
