Canberra United are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeping duo Coco Majstorovic and Georgia Ritchie for the 2023/24 Liberty A-League season.

The pair have joined the club ahead of the new season to bolster the clubs’ goalkeeping ranks, completing a trio of excellent young goalkeepers alongside Young Matildas international Chloe Lincoln.

“Both Coco and Georgia are very good goalkeepers and provide us with a trio of custodians who are young, talented, and have the passion, and ability to develop into top class goalkeepers,” Canberra United Head Coach Njegosh Popovich commented.

“It is vital to have three goalkeepers that can push each other but are also able to work together with our coaching staff and our goalkeeping coach.

“We have that in the form of Chloe, Coco, and Georgia, and am excited to see how they grow as a group, as well as individually, both before and during the 2023/24 Liberty A-League season.”

Majstorovic has one Liberty A-League appearance to her name for Melbourne City, having come on for the final six minutes in a 4-0 home win over Wellington Phoenix at AAMI Park in January 2022, replacing legendary number one Melissa Barbieri.

Ritchie meanwhile has been making waves at the junior levels, notably being named Goalkeeper of the Tournament at the 2022 National Youth Championships in Coffs Harbour after a series of stellar performances.

Coco and Georgia have committed to Canberra United for the 2023/2024 season, and you can too! Memberships for the new Liberty A-League campaign are on sale now and you can purchase yours from 2023/24 Memberships – Canberra United.
