It is a welcome return to playing top-flight football for Taylor-Young, having missed all of last season with an ankle injury, having previously made all of her forty-four A-League appearances for United. Taylor-Young made her name initially in the Canberra United Academy ranks where, as a forward where she struck an impressive 39 goals in 46 matches. In recent seasons, she has been showing her abilities as an attacking full-back, earning rave reviews for her contributions at both ends of the park.
