Canberra United will begin their new campaign with a pre-season friendly encounter against the National Premier League Women All-Stars team at McKellar Park as part of an official Season Launch on Saturday 12 October 2024.
The new-look team in green will take to the field under the stewardship of new Head Coach Antoni Jagarinec for the first time against the absolute best that the local National Premier League (NPL) has to offer, with the locals selection being a combined team from the seven NPL clubs in the region.
United fans are invited to attend the match from 12:30 when the gates open for a unique insider peek into the inner-sanctum, as supporters will be able to have a look around the McKellar Park venue, including the team changing rooms!*
Players will also be around for photos and autographs and new season merchandise will be available to buy from our Canberra United Matchday store.
After this, the 2024/25 Canberra United squad will be individually introduced to the crowd at our jersey presentation, where you can welcome new, and returning, players and give them a sample of the amazing McKellar Park atmosphere!
The day will conclude with the fixture against the NPLW All-Stars after which the playing groups will mingle and a chance for further opportunities to meet your football heroes will emerge!
