This weekend Canberra United will be celebrating ‘Community Round’ at McKellar Park, against Western United in Round 11 of the Ninja A-League Women’s.
The weekend is aimed at saying thank you to the Police and Emergency services who have worked to keep us safe over the Christmas and New Years holiday period.
Constable Kenny Koala will be in attendance at McKellar Park and fans will have the opportunity to take photos and interact with the mascot.
ACT Policing’s Constable Kenny Koala program is designed to educate childcare and primary-aged school children between three to 12-years-of-age on a range of safety themes, and to encourage them to turn to police for help and advice.
Local clubs in Canberra will also have the chance to be involved on the day as a thank you for their continuous support of the club.
All children aged 12 and under will get admission to the game FREE. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
