Canberra United is delighted to announce that DKD Consulting has signed a commercial partnership with the club for the upcoming Westfield W-League season.
DKD Consulting, a Canberra-based management and industry consultancy company, will be the front of shorts sponsors for Canberra United in the Westfield W-League and their logo will also feature on the collar of staff and player polos.
DKD Consulting Managing Director, David Darcy, said becoming commercial partners with Canberra United was the perfect fit for the company. Mr Darcy said DKD is particularly passionate about supporting women’s sport.
“Having played sport at an elite level, I know the commitment and sacrifices the players make to participate, and I am aware of the funding challenges sporting organisations face,” Mr Darcy said.
“I am lucky enough to be in a position to be able to give back to various sports now, and we are very excited to be a part of the Canberra United journey.
“Having young daughters who play football with Tuggeranong United, it is imperative they are part of the growing support of Canberra United within Canberra and the surrounding community. We look forward to seeing the club grow in leaps and bounds in the coming seasons.”
DKD Consulting will also be giving one lucky fan the chance to be Canberra United’s 12th player at a game this season, giving them exclusive access to players, and the opportunity to take part in the team warm-up and perform the pre-match coin toss.
Canberra United CEO Phil Brown thanked DKD for supporting women’s football.
“Canberra United prides itself on connecting with businesses and individuals within the Canberra community, so we are excited to have the opportunity to partner with DKD Consulting,” Mr. Brown said.
“I want to thank DKD for supporting Canberra United this season.”
