MURRAY RETURNS FOR THIRD SEASON IN GREEN

Canberra United is delighted to confirm the return of Holly Murray to the playing ranks for the 2024/25 A-League Women’s Season.

The versatile midfielder returns to the Capital City for her third season in green, after making her professional debut with the club in the 2022/23 season, being named as the club’s Rising Star.

“I am incredibly proud and excited to have signed on with Canberra United again for the new season,” said Murray. “I have absolutely loved being here the last two seasons and can’t wait to be back out in front of our amazing fans at McKellar Park.

“It really is a dream come true for me to be part of the A-League and I felt my game was improving with each match last season. I am excited about the future and continuing my football development with this great club.”

Murray has spent her off-season plying her trade with Box Hill United in the Football Victoria NPL Women’s competition, having been a standout in her eleven matches with the side. She will return to the United line-up to link-up once more with newly promoted Head Coach Antoni Jagarinec.

“I’m absolutely delighted to have Holly back in the squad for another season,” Canberra United Head Coach Jagarinec said.

“She is a quality addition to our squad, with her innate game sense a massive bonus for how we want to play.

“She is still a young player, but already has plenty of experience under her belt in the A-League, so will add plenty of leadership into the middle of the park. She fits in well to the group and the culture of the club.”

Murray has committed to Canberra United for the 2024/25 season, and you can too! Packages for season memberships are available now on our club website at www.canberraunited.com.au.
