PREVIEW: UNITED RETURN HOME FOR GLORY CLASH

Canberra United return home after two weeks on the road to face Perth Glory in Round Four of the 2025/26 Ninja A-League Women’s.

After a tough fortnight of travel, United were unlucky to only add one point to their season total from their two road matches in Wellington and Adelaide despite leading in both games.

Perth travels to the nation’s capital licking their wounds after conceding two second-half goals in last week’s storm-affected 2-0 loss to Sydney FC.

The Glory looked the more dangerous side against the Sky Blues before conceding, with new signing Emma Tovar getting close for the second week in a row in search of her first goal in purple.

Perth recorded more shots and more possession in the match despite the result, a trend that has followed them in all three of their matches this season.

Last week United opened the scoring for the third time this season, this time inside 27 seconds, but again fell victim to a late goal to drop points in the City of Churches.

After a full week of training, United will be primed and ready to go for a massive clash against a longtime rival.

The side will be boosted by the return of midfielder Bethany Gordon, but will have to without goalscorer Kiara De Domizio, after the forward was forced off with an injury in the first half of last week’s match.

United defeated Glory in both of their meetings last season, and have not lost to the West Coast side since 2023.
