Canberra United are pleased to confirm the return of Lillian Skelly and Sofia Christopherson to the squad on the eve of the 2025/26 Ninja A-League Women’s Season.
No strangers to the Canberra United Faithful, both Skelly and Christopherson have made all their A-Leagues appearances in Green, with Skelly having appeared five times while Christopherson has 54 caps next to her name.
“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Lillian and Sofia back to Canberra United,” said Head Coach Antoni Jagarinec of the double signing.
“Lillian has an incredible skillset for a young player and brings the intensity and ball mastery to the wide areas that is essential for the modern-day player. We’re incredibly excited to see her return from a serious injury last season, and to watch her develop further.
“Sofia was a massively important part of the squad last season. Her speed and natural ability to find the goal, make her incredibly valuable. Her aggressiveness in the tackle, sheer determination, and will-to-win are highly desirable attributes in a player.”
