Canberra United can today confirm that Keeley Richards has been ruled out for the rest of the 2021/22 Liberty A-Leagues season with a knee injury.
The goalkeeper injured her knee during Saturday’s game against Perth Glory and was subbed off in the 73rd minute.
It was confirmed through an MRI scan that she would require surgery. She underwent an operation today and is recovering well.
Train-on goalkeeper Cristina Esposito will be signed on as an injury replacement for the remainder of the season.
